YALE, Vernon- Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, February 7, 2007 in his 85th year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Joan (1999) and daughter Linda (1990). Loving companion of Evelyn Pentz. Cherished father of Barb (Patrick O'Neill) of Burlington, Gary of Stoney Creek and Steven (Yolanda) of Hamilton. Proud grandfather of Hannah Lynn, Stephanie, Kelsey and Katelyn. Vern will also be missed by all who knew and loved him, including the Pentz family. Visitation at Dodsworth and Brown Funeral Home, Burlington Chapel, 2241 New Street (at Drury Lane), Burlington, (905-637-5233) on Saturday from 2-4 & 7-9pm and Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral Mass at Holy Rosary Catholic Church 287 Plains Road E., Burlington will be celebrated on Monday, February 12, 2007 at 10am. Interment at Burlington Memorial Gardens. If so desired, donations to The Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
