Zimmerman, Edward Elmer (Died)

ZIMMERMAN, Edward Elmer (November 14, 1923 - February 7, 2013) Peacefully at home surrounded by his family, Edward in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Jean. Loved father of Margaret (Chris), Gloria and John. Loving grandfather of Sian, Brendan, Brenner, Adam and Paige. A veteran of World War II (1940-1945) Ed was a member of the 48th Highlanders wounded in action in Italy in 1944. After the war Ed joined British American Oil, later Gulf Oil until his retirement in 1984. The family would like to thank Acclaim Health, CCAC, Recharge, Veterans Affairs, as well as the many family and friends for their care and compassion. A memorial visitation will be held at the KO P R I VA TAY L O R C O M M U N I T Y FUNERAL HOME , 64 Lakeshore Rd.
