SPRIGGS, Roy Passed away on Friday June 7, 2013 at O.T.M.H. at the age of 88. Beloved husband of Mary Spriggs for 55 wonderful and enjoyable years. Loving father of Susan (Ken), Roy J. (predeceased), Carolyn, Richard and Roger (Sherrie). Cherished Granddad of Alexander, Peter, Brandon, Brittany and Brooke, much loved and fond brother of Joyce and Pam and the late Richard. He was the son of the late Richard and Margaret (nee Moore) Spriggs. Roy was well known and respected in the insurance industry and the proud founder of Spriggs Insurance Brokers Limited. Friends will be received at Oakview Funeral Home, 56 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville on Tuesday June 11, 2013 from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday June 12, 2013 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. If desired, donations to the Oakville Trafalgar Hospital, Oakville Humane Society or Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guide would be appreciated by the family.
