DIBATTISTA, Audrey (nee Abel) August 23 1925 - August 20 2013. We are saddened to announce the passing of our Mother of Gloria, Anne and son John. She was a special sister to Nora Potvin Thompkins and loving "Nanny" to Lesley and Lisa Cooke, John Paul and Kadey DiBattista, Taylor and Spencer Metcalfe, and great grandmother to Emily and Mathew Highland, and Mya DiBattista. Audrey passed peacefully at the Ian Anderson House on August 20th 2013 with her granddaughter by her side. A memorial service will be held at St. Andrew's Church on Friday, August 23, 2013 at 12:00 pm, located at 47 Reynolds St, Oakville. Known as "Nanny" to all, she will be greatly missed. She had a special gift that lot hearts around her. Our family will cherish her forever. Donations to Ian Anderson House in lieu of flowers.
