North Halton Golf & Country Club's curling section hosted the 18th-annual Dunlop Insurance Charity Bonspiel, in which 64 curlers participated and raised $30,000 for the Georgetown Hospital and the Halton Hills United Way. The winning team (from left) consisted of: Cliff Sparks, Ron Perego, David Porter and Dave Macmurdo. (Below) The championship rink from the Lois Makovnyk Invitational Bonspiel held at the North Halton club (from left) were: Skip Gini Bourner accepting trophy from Lois' son Mike Makovnyk and his sons Matt and Sam, Helen Mizener, Marlene Bayko and Annette Mills.
