- Miss Anna Law Dies; Former Librarian Here
Word was received here this week of the death of Miss Anna Law, who had been librarian at the Wilmette Free Public Library for forty years. Her death occurred on January 10 in Springfield, Mo., where she had resided for thirteen years since her retirement as librarian in Wilmette. A short illness had resulted in pneumonia. Miss Law had helped to found the Wilmette library and she had been a charter member of the Woman's Club of Wilmette. Some of the early meetings of the club were held at her home. Miss Law is survived by a brother, Albert Law, of Lauren, Mont. - Featured Link
