- Ralph R. Lounsbury of Wilmette chairs a committee to establish a juvenile protective association for Wilmette, Kenilworth, Winnetka, Glencoe and Highland Park. Other members of the committee are Mrs. Morris Greeley, secretary; Mrs. Ira C. Wood, John R. Montgomery, Mrs. Gertrude Britton, Mrs. Shelby Singleton, Edward J. Phelps, Dr. Charles Horswell, Thomas Lawndale and Mrs. William Zimmerman, R. L. Fanwich, George R. Dean and Marshall Sampsell, O. R. Barnett, Sherman N. Bassett, T. C. Orcott and H. R. Williams.
