Turning S-L-O-W Sales into Quick Turnover iri this, the last of a series of six advertisements, the basic' ideas advanced in the preceding five is emphasized. That idea, simply, is this: You've got to put f orth every effort to keep Bowmanville's folk coming to your stores and buying in your stores. Advertising in your local home neWspaper can help ac- complish that aim. Not only your own advertising, but the ad- veîrtising of the manufacturers whose goods you stock as well. You cannot get the advertising support of these manufact- urers merely by wishing for it. You've got to make the manu- i facturers irealize how necessary it is to you, if you are to sel their goods successfully. And you can make the manufacturers -realize it by selling their salesmen who cail on you on Bowmanville-by interesting them in Bowmanville as an outlet for your merchandise-by in- teresting them in your local, home newspaper as the means to more sales of your merchandise in Bowmanville. This is an opportunity, you merchants of Bowmanville, that you should make the most of, one that may mean ail the diff erence between slow, infrequent sales and quick, profitable turnover. You need the advertising aid of the manufacturera whose goods you stock-urge their salesmen to recommend your localhrn newspaper.
