HOLGATE & SON PEONE13BWMNI COUNTIES COUNCIL MEMBERSHIP IS CHANGED BY THIRD Thirteen New Men on 1935 Conncil - Many Seek Honer of Warden One third of the personel of the Northumberland and Durhamn Coun- ties CouncUl, will be new in 1935, el- ection returns from various munici- palities reveal. Of the thirteen new men on the Council some o! them are no strangers but have served in previous years. The 1934 Warden, Reeve Wilbert Davey will nlot be a member of the council, neither will either Reeve W. J. Duncan of Sey- mour and Reeve Chas. Quinn o! Cramahe, both of whom ran for Warden in 1934. Among those who are reported te be seeking the Wardens chair this year are Reeve Geo. F. Annis of Dar- lington; Reeve Norman Green o! Cartwright; Reeve Percy Stinson of Millbrook, and Reeve C. G. Mercer of Hope Township. The Warden- ship cornes to Durham County th15 year. and the strength of the major political parties in the Council wilU be the deciding factor in the elec- tion.
