He was in bis 80tb year. He resided at 46 Sum- merhill Gardens, Toronto. Mn. James had been retired for some years. For the *past 14 years be had contributed a weekly religious article to the Peter- borough Examiner. He had also wnitten for a number of othen publications. Born in India, he was the son of Edward James, a civil engineen. Mn. James neceived bis education at Doyen Coîhege, Engîand, and bis theological degree from Wy- ciffe College.
