PEARCE The citizens cf Newcastle and community were saddened ta learn cf the death cf Mrs. Wm. H. Pearce, thc former Mary Jane Atkinson who passed away at the family residence on Feb. 8. She auffered poor health for sev- eral months. She was boem at Mihdrnay in. Bruce County, but lived most cf her lif. in New- castle. She always held tue ini- terest cf the cemmunity and church at heart. The romains were brought to Bowrnanville on Friday, the fun- eral service being held on Mon- day at 2:30 p.m. fram Marris Fun- eral Chapel. The service was conducted by her paster, Rov. L. H. Turner cf the. United Church, Newcastle, when a very large number cf friends from town and country attended ta express sym- pathy wlth the bereaved cnes. The bearers were nephews and grandchuldren: Henry Pearce, Ray Coiwcll, Garnet and Brenton Rickard, Albert and Robert Pearce. She was rnarried te Wm. H.
