The meeting op- ened with a hymn and prayer. During the business discussion period the new membership cards were distributed. The program committee for the next meeting on April 26 is Wes HuIs, Dorothy Snowden and Mary Milîson. An inspiring devotional period was led by Doris HuIs, canvenor, who also presided for the remaining pro- gram. "Youth and Service" was the subject of a very interest- ing topic presented by Mrs. E. The former Lila Lillian Gillis, she was born in Cavan town- ship, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Gillis and had lived ber entire life in Bethany and vicinity. Since childhood she had been a faithful mem- ber of St. Paul's Anglican church, sharing actively in the work of the church, Sunday school and Woman's Auxiliary.
