Following the film, Little King's Christmas, the big event was the arrivai of Santa Claus who brought presents of fruit and candy for ail the chiidren. Oni Santa's departure, ice cream and chôcolate milk was served to the children and the adults enjoyed tea and Christ- mas cake. The schooi room was decor- ated by Mr. AI Cuthbertson for the holiday season. The films were procured through the Osh- awa Film Council. 'Specialty Paper 'Christmas Party The Specialty Paper Products Limited held its annual Christ- mas party at the Balmoral Hotel on Saturday evening, December 18th. It was the largest and best of these parties which have been given every Christmas season for the past six years. About 70 were present, employees and their wives and husbands, or girl friends and boy friends. Mr. Bruno Miller, director of the Company, and Mrs. Miller acted as host and hostess. Mr. Alf Brown and Mrs. Edna Baker met the incoming guests and presented them with cards for their lapels. There was dancing and fine food. It had been previously ar- ranged that Gramp Pollard would lead a square dance or two, and the disappointment when it was iearned that Gramp would be unavoidably absent1 was soon assuaged when the oldi team of Art Collis, fiddle, and1 which was served after the danc- Gien Virtue, guitar, played. Mr. Ronald Shaw, president of the Company, came from Toronto with Mrs. Shaw to at- tend the party and to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
