A matching jacket of lace over taffeta with long lily point sleeves was worn oven the sleeveless bodice, and the full skirt fell in four tiers of net bordered with lace. Her chapel length veil of net with tiny rolled edges was embroidered with sequins and rhinestones and she carried a crescent bou- quet of red roses with baby munis. Acting as attendants for their sister were Miss Marie Potter who was maid of honour, Miss Lorna Potten and Miss Evelyn Potten as bridesmaids. 1and Miss Lola Potter as junior bridesmaid. The maid of honour and bridesmaids were in 1 similarly styled gowns of pink and blue respectively, fashion- ed in ballenîna length of nylon net and nylon and rayon lace with empire bodice, the skirts of layers of net, on which were rows of ruffled lace. Matching long sleeved bolenos and wreath headdresses of mohair petals with short veils completed their costumes. They canried bou- quets of yellow 'munis and wbite carnations. Miss Lola Potter, the junior bridesmaid, was in yellow ny- lon net with lace peplum and matcbîng short sleeved jacket. Hen headdress was of matchîng net and flowers and she carried a bouquet of blue 'mums and white carnations. Mrs. C. H. Dudley, organist of St. Paul's Chunch, played the wedding music. Acting as groonisman was Mn. George Potten, Bowman- ville, brother. of the bride, and ushens were Mr. Howard Pot- ter. Countice, also a brother of the bride, Mr. Lawrence Kelly, Bowmanvilie, and Mr. Lyle Blight, Oshawa, the bride's cousin. A reception followed the cereniony and was held at the home of the bride's sister, Mr. and Mrs. Walten Connelly, 648 Dean Ave., Oshawa. Receiving the guests the bride's mothen wore a dress of cocoa brown lace over taffeta with beige ac- cessonies and corsage of white carnations. The groom's mothen was in a grey fleck dress with white accessonies and corsage of pink carnations. For their wedding trip to East- ern points, the bride chose a pink suit with white splash. Her accessonies were also in pink and a corsage of yellow roses completed her ensemble. Mn. and Mrs. Geboers will ne- side on King Street West, Bow- Wedding Prayer" and "0 Per- fect Love". Given in marriage by her fa- ther, the bride wore a full length gown of petal white Chantilly lace over net and silk faille. The slim. bodice featured a squared neckline and long lily point sleeves, and the redin- gote skirt of alternating panels of net and lace, sweeping into a train, featured an underskirt of tier upon tier of tiny ne~t frilîs from the waistline to the heniuine. Her finger tip illusion veil was held by a coronet of seed pearis and sequins coni- plementing the embroidery -in her gown, and she carried a crescent cascade of yellow ros- ese centered with white gar- denias. Her jewellery was a single strand of pearîs. Mrs. John Lemon of Oshawa, was matron of honor and the other attendants were Mrs. Keith Shackleton of Bowman- ville, sister of the bridegroomi and Mrs. Ronald Osborne of Courtice, with Miss Evelyn Mac- Gregor of Courtice, as junior, bridesmaid for hier sister. Ail wore identical wvaltz length gowns of deep turquoise silk organza over peau de soie. A draped sabrina neckline with elbow length sleeves highligbt- ed the bodice, and the bouffant skirts were worn over crino- lines. Material from their gowns fashioned their coronets which were studded with seed pearîs. They wore short white gloves. and each carried a. crescent cascade of bronze and white chrysantbemums. Mr. Walter Tink of Bowman- ville xvas best man for bis bro- ther, and the ushers were Mr. James MacGregor of Courtice, brother of the bride, and Mr. Grant Herron of Courtice. The reception was held in Harmony United Church Hall where the bride's mother re- ceived the guests wearing a dress of champagne beigeý French crepe fasbioned on slim lines with side drape, a silk velour mushroom bhat of shaded royal nule, and a corsage of yel- low roses. Assisting was the bridegroomn's mother who chose embroidered rose beige organza over taffeta with side sash, a picture bat of rose beige sîlk feit with velvet trimming, and a corsage of pink roses. The wedding dinner was serv- ed by the Woman's Associa- tion of Harmony United Church and Reverend Harold Stain- ton acted as master of cere- monies. Following the reception the guests were entertaîned at a dance at tbe Lions Centre in Bowmanville, which featured many Scottish dances.
