The final piayoffs featured some of the most cxciting hockey y ou'd ever want to sec. No less than three of the games, including the final, went into sudden-death overtime. "Buck" Cowle must have set som-e sort of record when lie bagged the tying goal in the final minute of each game. Not only did these two teams have to go right to the limit in the playoffs, as a sudden-death overtime session was needed to give Brooks, Construction first place, after an entire schedule. t 'i. i. i. t LAKESHORE BASEBALL MEETING Murray McKnight, the new president of the Lakeshore Minor Basebail Association, lias informed me that a meeting of the Association will be held at the Elmhurst Hotel in Newcastle on the evening of April 28th.
