A. E. Holley at the United Church manse, Grand Bend, when Marion Loy- een Woodburn exchanged mar- riage vows wîth Kenneth Har- old Larmer of Burketon. The bride is the daughter of Mr. epd Mrs. Carman Woodburn of Greenwày, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Larmer of Burketon. Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose a waltz- jength gown of white Chan-1 tilly lace over taffeta. The bodice was styled with three- quarter length sleeves and a scalloped neckline. A back panel of net ruffles accented the scalloped bouffant skirt. A tiara of pearîs and sequins held ber shoulder length veil of sik illusion and she carried a cas- cade of American Beauty roses and stephanotis. She wore the gift of the groom, a necklace and earrings of crystal. The bride xvas attended by Miss Jeanette Steeper and Miss Loretta Oliver who wore iden- tical flowered waltz-length gowns of blue and white crys- tai charm over taffeta with pic- ture bats and white accessories. They carried cascades of bluel carnations and stephanotis. The flower girl, Miss Ann Gardner, of Matton, wore a white nyloni and lace dress and white acces- sories and carried a basket of blue carnations and stephano- Uis. Attending the groom were his brother, Allan Larmer, ,and a cousin Donald Larmer, 'both of Toronto. Stewart Brown, cousin of the bride was ring- bearer. The ushers were Grant Larmier , brother of the groomi, and Bill Woodburn, cousin of the bride. A reception was held in the parish hall, Greenway, where the bride's mother received the guests in a toast shantung and lace dress with picture hat with toast accessories and rose cor- sage, assisted by the groom's i mother who chose a blue bro- caded organza dress with pink accessories and corsage. For a wedding trip ta the Canadian West and the United States, the bride donned a blue lace dress over taffeta, duster coat and beige accessories and a corsage of bronze munis. Mr. and Mrs. Larmer wil make their home in Peterbor- ough. Among the best wishes ex- tended to the happy couple wvas a telegtram from the bride's un- cie, mr. Dawson Woodburn, who is vacatîoning in England. HAZELDEN - ROSS Rev. F. A. Bunt officiated at the marriage of Janet Gilles Ross and Ralph Lloyd Hazelden at Wesley United Church, Mim- ico, on July 25th. The bride is the daughter of Mv. and Mrs. W. Ross, Mimico. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Hazelden of Alderwood, former- ly of Bowmanvile. Given in marriage by her father the bride wore a floor lengtih gown of Chantilly lace and ivory silk organza. The1 seed Pearl tiara held the elbow length veil of tulle illusion, and she carried a cascade bouquet of red and white roses and ste- phanotis. Attending the bride were Miss Margaret Russell as maid of honor and Miss Lynda Hazel- den, sister of the groom. They wore waltz-length gowns of nylon over net embossed with velveray. The maid of honor wore turquoise and carried a bouquet of yeliow and white carnations, while theibridesmaid wore Pink and carried a bou- quet of pink and white carna- tions. They wore white flowered head-pieces wit'h white accessor- ies. The flower girl, Miss Gillian Carmîcheal, wore lemon silk organza and carried a basket of yellow and pink roses. Mr. James Kniox of Long Branch was best man and the ushers were Mr. Bruce Keller and Lance Corporal Garnet Green. Mr. Knox and Mr. Keller wore grey suits and white bou- tonnieres, while the groom and Lance Corporal Green wore their dress blue uniforms. As the bridai party ieft thel vestry they were piped from thel church by Piper Peter Taylor of the R.C.A.F. The reception was held at the Union Hall on Seventh St. The tables were decorated with Pink carnations. The bride's mother received guests in a green rayon crepe gown with brown acces- sories and a corsage of tea roses. She was assisted by the groom's mother who wore a royal blue chiffon gown with white acces- sories and a corsage of pink roses. For travelling the bride wrore a twu-piece sheath dress of tur- quoise with beige accessories and a gardenia corsage. After a short honeymoon the groom returned to Camp Pet- awawa where he is stationed with The Canadian Guards.
