He was In bis l7th year. Son af Mr. and Mrs. G. K.- Crowells, the deceased was born in Oshawa. He had e- sided at R.R. 2, Newcastle, for three years, and prior to that in Hampton. He was a member ai the Anglican Church, and was employed by Able Window Cleaners ai Oshawa. He at- tended Brown's Public and Clarke High Schools. Surviving besides his par- ents are four brothers, Ken- neth, Alan, Donald, Brian; two sisters, Sandra and Rose- mary; and a sister-in-law, Lauraine. The funeral service was held from the Armstrongc Funeral Home, Oshawa, on Friday, June 28, and was con- ducted by Rev. N. T. Holmes. Interment was in Mount Lawn Cemetery, Oshawa. Palîbearers w e r e Messrs. Frank Crowells, Eddie Crow- elîs, Ray Crowelhs, Jimmy Crowells, Fred Crowells and Dave Speirs. The meeting open- ed with hymn and prayer and OBITUARY Douglas Laverne Rohmer Douglas Laverne R o h r e r passed away suddenly at Lau- rel Brook Park, Nestieton, on Saturday, June 29th, 1963, in his l3th year. Douglas was the younger son oi Mr, and Mrs. Oliver Rohmer oi Nestleton. He was born Dec. 4th, 1950, in Tilsan- burg, coming with his parents at an early age ta live in Cart- wright Township. In 1954 he was severehy in- jured in a motor accident, spending long weeks in bospi- tal. For the past, four years be enjoyed the annual vaca- tion at Crippled Children's Camps at Collingwood and Perth and was looking for- ward ta meeting former assa- ciates this year. Douglas was a pupil at Cart- wright Central Public School and had passed into Grade 7 in June. He attended St. Jobn's Anglican C h urch, Blackstock, where he was a member of the Sunday School, the church choir and the Boy's League, and also spent three happy years with the local Cub Pack. For the past sev- eral years he and bis brother Warren delivered Toronto daily papers in the communi- ty and Douglas gained many friends as be traversed his paper route.
