Muirhead, as chairman of the evening, referred in very flattering language to Mrs. Neale's musical activities, while a resident of Bowmanvilie, and voiced, the hope of ail that the talen ted couple -would, up- on their return to Canada, inSeptem- ber, again make Bowmanviile their home. Mr. Otto Bragg read an address from the local pupils, expressing their appreciation of the very earnest and successful tutorial efforts of Mrs. Neale, and Miss Janey Mason pre- sented her with a beautiful gold wrist watch. Mrs. Neale, aithough taken com- pietely by surprise, responded with a very pretty speech.- Mrs. D. R.
