BOYS' TRAINING SCHOOL NEWS The new sehool aishes have an- nived and been unpackedl. They are very attractivèly decoruted in the sehool 'colors, royal blue aýnd old gold. Two hundred ýbarrels of appIes have been pieked fromi the Darch orchard. Most of these have beený shipped, but a considerable quantity iS ýbeing stored for winter use at the School. Saturday night being Hallowe'en, dînner and social has been planned. Among the guests will be Mayor T. S. Holgate, Mr. J. H. H. Jury, mem- bers of the staff and their wives. Chicken is on the menu and the social directly after until 10.00 p. mi. The Honor Roll boys had another hike up the riveji on Saturday after- noon. This time they picked out a sheltered spot among the hills -nnd enjoyed a weiner and marshmallow roast before the rain sent thei off on a moderated muarathon 'back to, the sehool. Work commenced oit the machine shop this week, This building when completed will be second in size on- ly to. the Gym-nasium building. The Public Works,- Department has the eontract and are employing ï-nostly local men, Two months shouIdS ee this building nearing completion. Additional honor and privileges have been awarded the head-ioys oni the Honor Roll.
