The Astros won Wednesday's final game over the Sharks by a convincing 22-6 score., Miss Bosgra had a big game for the winners - in addition to pitching her team to victory, she helped out in the scoring department by contributing two home runs. Sharks' pitcherCindy Harper turned in a good game at the platewith two hits, inicluding a home run. Town League Softball Stepheni Fuels Win Championship After Tough Series with Frankà's Stephen Fuels climaxed a fine season on Thursday night as they downed defendmng Champion Franks Variety 4-1 to win the 1973 Championship 4 games to 3. Franks, trailing 3 games to 2 on Tuesday night won 5-3t force the sevýenth gamne. In Tuesdays game Stephens Don Lorusso and Franks Terry Baker each tossed 5 bit bail uqt Franks came up with the win on singles by Woody Lee and Jim McKnight and two errors in the 7th. Stephens Bill Godfrey was the oniy gý ayer in the game to have two its. Franks, trailing 2-0 went ahead 3-2 in the sixth on Terry Bakers 2nd play-off homer, a 3 run shot, but Stephens came right back and evened it up in the last of the sixth to set the stage for the 7tb. On Thursday night Franks jumped into a 1-0, 2nd inning lead. Stephens tied the score in the 4tb and added two more in the 6th to ice the game away. Terry Baker led Steph- ens with 3 bits as well as pitching the win. Bill Godfrey added two bits to Stephens attack. Woody Leeand Dave Cryderman each had two hits for Franks.
