They were married on Oct. 2nd, 1923 at the home of the bride's father Mr. Jas. Scott at Columbus. Rev. R. J. Fraser officiated, assisted by Rev. R. A. Delve. Their two sons, William at home,' Rev. Robert of Minne- dosa,' Man., their wives and their daughter Muriel, Mrs. Maurice Jebson and' ber busband of Beaverton, wel- comed the guests. Misses Diane and Joan Jebson, Eldon and Wendel Werry and Gary Jebson, grandchildren were in charge of the guest book which was signed by over 250 guests. £ Among those who poured tea. were Mrs. Geo. Scott, Maxwells, eider sister of the bride, Mrs. A. R. Scott, Godericb, sister-in-law, Miss Wilma Werry, Witby, sister of the groom. Preston Brown united in marriage Lena Berniece, dau- gbter of Mrs. Melville Bertrim and the late Mr. Bertrim, Haydon, and Peter Ralpb, son of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Hood, R.R. 3, Port Perry. A Juliet cap nf matching lace and pearîs h eld a three tiered French illusion tulle veil and she carried a bridal bouquet of pink sweet- heart roses, white carnations, stephanotis and baby's breath. The, bride's sister, Mrs. Kenneth Urwin, was the matron on honor, and the bridesmaids, were Mrs. Ron- ald Morrison, sister of the bride, Mrs. John Bertrim, sister-in-law of the bride, Miss Susan Morrison, bride's niece, was the flower girl and Master Robert Urwin, nephew of the bride, ring bearer. The flowe2r girl wore a similar gown and carried a basket of miniature rose pink carnations and shasta daisies. Mr. Gordon Pogue was best man, and the ushers Messrs. Following a reception beld in the Church bail, the happy couple lef t on a wedding trip to Western Canada and are now residing at RHR. 3, Port Perry. I. Lester Bigby, united in marriage Doreen Erlyne, oniy daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Trewin, Enniskiiien, and Robert Car- son, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Gustave Dittburber, Hal- ey's Station. Mrs. C. R. Chambers was the organist and Mrs. Harold McLaughiin, cousin of the bride, soloist. The church was decorated with baskets of white gladiolus and yeiiow daisies. Given in marriage by ber tather, the bride vaslovely in a formai length white Swiss mustin gown with tins flocked bows througb the materiai. It was fasbioned witb a bigb waisted bodice, square neck- line and long leg of mutton sleeves. A gatbered tbree-tier skirt was trimmed witb ribhon of white, orange and yellow embroidered daisies . Wearing a white wide hrimmed picture bat, ribbon trimmed, she carried a sheaf bouquet of long stemmed yeliow roses and wore an heirloomn neck- lace xvorn by ber maternai grandmother at ber wedding in 1917. The bridai attendants were friends of the bride, Miss Nancy Simpson, Toronto, maid of bonor, Miss Jennifer Ferris, Ottawa, bridesmaid and Miss Susan Siemon, Haydon, cousin of the bride, junior bridesmaid. TIhey wore identical formaI length goxwns of yelloxx Swiss muslin and carried sheaf bouquets of long stem white and yellow daisies w,ýith baby's breath. Mr. Tom Miller, Kingston, xwas best man and the ushers xwere Messers Donald Trexvin, the bride's brother and Donald Smith, Ottawa. For the buffet supper 'and dance beld at the Lions Centre, Bowmanville, the bride's mother wore a formai lengtb gow\n of nylon jersey in a yel1ow muiti-coiored floral print. The groom's mother chose a formai iength gown in a green floral print. Both wore corsages of yellow rose- buds and white carnations. For their honeymoon trip f0 the west coast, the bride chose a three piece burgundy pant suit with white accessories xith which she wore a burgundy rosebud corsage.
