On the first charge the fine was $75. and costS, in default seven days. On the second charge the fine was $50. and costs, or five days consecutive. There will be an automiatie license supesin. He was given four weS to00p ay. Stanley Byers, R.R. 1 Orono was put on probation for two years witb.usual terms plus he is to continue treatment with Dr. Raskin until Dr. Raskin thinks he no longer requires treat.ment. H1e is flot to accept any position where he will be han lin money during that timeý. He will be given a 'conditional discharge at the termination of sentence. Smith was patrolling west- bound on King St. and heard voices swearing. Vance later swore at Const. Smith. H1e was under the influence of alcohol. When handcuffed he refused to enter the cruiser and was, forcibly put in. Judge Baxter told Vance l"he takes a dim view of anyone wbo abuses the police". Lionel Homer Davis, R.R. 1, Minden, pleaded "not guilty" through counsel to a charge of moving from one lane to another wben unsafe to do so. Counsel asked for a dismissal as at this place on higbway there was only one lane for traffic. Judge Baxter dismis- sed the charge.
