During the after- noon the secretary, Mrs. Terty Price reported that donations had been sent to the Newcastle Lions Club, The Bowmanvillc Santa Claus Pa- rade and The Country Four Quartet. Mrs. Killeen reported that complimentary copies of the Shaw's History Book have been delivered to Carke and Bowmanvilte Museums as well as both Public Libraries. Donations are to be made to Shaw's Schoot for theiranixuat bus trip and Mrs. Howard Wood suggested that a dona- tion to Participation House in Oshawa would be appreciated. The, ladies agreed on this suggestion and went on to enjoy a social afternoon. The Robert McLaughlin Gallery bas on view tilt December 8th a comptete set of Editions 1, as sertes of 30 award winning prints were selected b a jury consisting of A. Batkind, Pat Martin Bates and Roy Kiyooka from over 12W0 entries. Harry Van Belle, of Van Belle Gardens, would like to convey his sincere appreciation to the hundreds of people that came to their Open House Iast Thursday, Friday and Saturday at their east location on Hwy.
