Ter- benche and family, Port Hope, Mr. and Mrs. R. Crombie and family, Mrs. Crombie and Joy Crombie, Bowmanville. Mr. and Mrs. H. Muldrew held their Christmas dinner on the 241h and had Mr. and Mrs. B. Maclntosh and boys, Cold- springs, Mr. and Mrs. R. Avery and family, Oshawa, Mr. and Mrs. Ross Muldrew and girls Port Hope. MARY !LUCY JANE COWAN A resident i( i3ýowmanville for 19 years, Mary Lucy Jane Cowan, died suddenly, in hier 52nd year, in Memorial Hos- pitliBowmranville, on Satur- day, December 28, 1974. Born in Clarke Township, andè educated in Onono, she. was the daugý-hter of Mrs. C. A. barris, and the late Mr. Hannis On, July 241h, 1943, she was married 10 Clifford Cowan. A memnben of St.* Paul's United Church'-, her interests centred around ber home, family and, commnitylý,ý. Lefi tobimourn lher passing are hier husband, and two daughters Donna and Carol, one yean. ýA memben of the R.C.A.F. '-kho served overseas, he was veny interested in Boy Scout work, a member of the church choir and a member of Einli and Newcastle Golf Courses. Also surviving are two sons, Greg, of Bowmanville, Ste- phen of 'Newcastle, two grand- childnen and three brothers of Newcastle. The funeral service was conducted by Reverend Smith of Newcastle from the North- cutt Ellott Funeral Home on Saturday. Paîl-bearens were Messrs.
