Orillia tied it up in the third at the midway p oint of the period, Kevin Crowther the marksman. Bowmanvillp, went ahead 4-3 on Brad Godfrey's third goal of the game unassisted. Ger- ard Morrison put Bowman- ville ahead 5-3 taking a pass out from Godfrey. Bowmanville took a 1-O lead in the first period on a goal by Stephen Taylor from Tim Little and Dan Combes. Oshawa scored before the end of the period to tie the game at one apiece. Trevor Martyn got midway through the second stanza, as hie banged in a rebound off pas ses from Combes and Paul Stocker. Tim Preston, who had several scoring chances, was selected as'the rnost valuable player for the Bowmanville team, in the game. Goaltending duties were split between Todd Stephens and Scott Bate. Bowmanville managed to outshoot the visitors, 24-14, as the Toros controlled most of the plays. Bowmanville received four penalties, while Oshawa had two.
