On Tuesday evening June 3rd, 1975 a large group of ladies of assorted shapes, sizes and birthdates gathered at Yelverton Chureh Hall to honor one of Yelvertons darling damsels, Miss Mar- leah Malcolm, bride-eleet. Marleah is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Murray Malcolm who live at the north junction of 7A-35 Highway. Miss Candy Malcolmn, lst cousin of the bride, greeted the guests as custodian .of the Guest Book. Af ter a brief program the honored guest was seated in a spot of honor and she was assisted by Misses Rosemary Bowen, Darlene Malcolm and Patsy Bowen (sister and future sister-in-laws) in opening the gifts. Later Marleah expres sed hier thanks for the many lovely gifts she received and to those who arranEed the evening, Mrs. Linda Pfoh, Miss Adele Page, Mrs. Myra Page, Mrs. Peggy Stacey and Miss Candv Malcolm. Hearty congratulations to two of our community's young men who recently graduated from University. Mr. Ion Page who graduated with a Bache- lor of Science Degree in Bîology from Scarborough College University of Toronto at spring convocation exercis- es on June 9th.
