H1e pointed to Eddie Miller, current leader in the Super- Vee Series, as the kînd "of young driver who could go right to the top of auto racing." Miller, from Vail, Colorado, is no stranger to Mosport regulars. he won two events in'the Bulova Champ- ionship last year, went on to win the U.S. Formula Ford title, and this year, has won four of the six Super-Vee races he has entered. H1e currently leads the Super-Vee Series wîth a total of 83 points, only eight ahead of Tom Bagley, from State College, Pennsyl- vania. Third p lace in the Super-Vee standings is held by Richard Melville, of Kingston, Jamaica, with 70 points, while Howdy Holmes of Alexandria, Virgînia, is in fourth place with 65 points. Meanwhile, the 1975 Bulova Championship, which Hudes described as "the best ama- teur racing series in North America," will conclude on the "Grand Free" weekend, with the seventh and final races in the year-long series. No less than four drivers are still in contention for the Bulova Formula 100 titie, with the winner to receive Mos- p ort's Driver-to-Europe Scho- larship. The Formula 100 leader is Nigel Gough of Concord, Ontario, who has 68 points, five ahead of David White, of Bramalea. At 53 points is Stratford's John Scratch, while Don Sobering of Brantford, holds down fourth with 52 points. As in the Super-Vee Series, a Bulova win is worth 20 points. The "Grand Free" weekend will also decide the title in the Bulova Sedan class.
