A reception and dance followed in the Guildhall at the Holiday Inn where the bride's mother received guests in a turquoise silk gown topped with a. matching chiffon coat and carrying a pink rose corsage on a beaded bag. Assisting in receiving, the groom's mother wore a gown of deepopink crepe with a corsage o harmonizing roses. For leaving on a wedding trip to the Maritimes the bride chose a formai length skirt patterned with lemon yellow, white and cocoa, a lemon yellow halter top and a wrist corsage of Woburn Abbey roses. The groom wore a beige checked suit. .Mr. and Mrs. Heakes are now residing in London where the groom is attending Law School at Western University. The skirt extended into a train and was trimmed Phnoto by Astor with alternating rows of pin 'tucks and embroidered organ- za flowers. A matcbing Juliet cap of organza flowers beld her finger tip veil of tulle illusion and she carried a bouquet of wbite carnations, pink roses and baby's breatb witb a sprig of white beather brought from Scotland espe- cially for the occasion. The bridal attendants, ma- tron of bonour Mrs. James Tedford of Owen Sound and bridesmaids Miss Suzanne Presson of London and Miss Lois Gee of Ottawa wore princess style gowns of blue flowered silk designed with capelets and matcbing blue picture bats. They carried bouquet s of mauve daisies, g ink carnations and blue aby 's breath. Gibson, 18 Jackman Avenue, Bowman- ville, was united in marriage to Keith Duane, son of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon E. Lindquist of Central Butte. Pastor Norman D. Foster officiated at tbe ceremony and tbe organist was Mrs. N.D. Foster. Given in marriage by ber parents, the bride wore a peasànt-styled floor-lengtb gown of white polyester melon crepe with a gatbered neck- line accented hy Guipure lace-trimmed ruffle, puffed sleeves and an A-line skîrt paneled and hemmed with lace. She wore a floppy-brim- med hat trimmed with lace to match the gown and carried an armn bouquet of natural dried wheat, oats, corn tassels bunny-tails and strawflowers in shades of orange, blue, yellow and green. The maid of Honor, Miss Patricia Gibson, the bride's sister, wore a white printed polyester crepe gown and carried a wicker gathering basket of dried flowers in deep colors of blue, orange, yellow and pink. She wore a wbite floppy-brimmed hat witb yel- low trim. Tbe Best Man was tbe groom's brother Larry Lindquist, and the ushers were Gary Lew- chak and Ron Wandler, friends of the groom. The Master of ceremonies was John Murdoch, Stratbroy, Ontario, friend of tbe family. The bride's mother wore a sleeveless blue polyester crepe gown witb a sbeer blue floral long-sleeved jacket and a matching corsage of dried flowers. The groom's mother wore an off-white printed polyester gown with a matcbing corsage of dried flowers. The reception was beld in the Central Butte Hi gh Sebool Auditorium. The bride 's oing away oufit was red and white gingham jumper with a ligbt blue chambray blouse. Her corsage was in natural and red tones.
