CECIL HILL, Olga, Hill passed away at H-illsdale Manor, Oshawa, on January 25,ý 2976, having suffered asevere stroke about two weeks earlier. Oga E. Ferguson was born iCartwright Township on October 12, 1892, the eldest child and only daughter of William C. and S. Kezia (Beacock) Ferguson. She grew up in Cartwright and received her schooling at S.S. No. 8, Egypt., On November 2, 1918 she was united in marriage with Robert Cecil Hill, also of -Cartwright. Ollie and Cecil farmed on the Jobb home- stead, Lot il Con. 6 of Cartwright for over 20 years later meving to the village oi Blackstock to be with and care for Cecil's mother and ýstep- father,' Mr. and Mrs. J.J. Jobb. Her father also lived with, them for a few years before his death.'After Cecil's death ini February of 1961, Ollie remained in Blackstock until August of 1974 when she decided te move to Hillsdale Manor, where she made many new friends. From early childhood, Ollie was keenly interested in Tyrone, Rurals and Farm- boys. The Tyrone team should be leading the pack, but unfortunately the Farmboys are leading with the Rurals bringing up the rear. More on bowling next week. A faithfu member of the Blackstock United Chut-ch, she led the Mission Band and-was Super- intendant of the Primary Department of the Sunday School for many yoars. She was active in the W.M.S., W.A., and later the U.C.W. of which she was a Life Membor. A member of Blackstock Women's Institute, sho was for many yoars, i charge oi the fruit and flower commnittee and, a reporter, she gatborod the news for the local weekly newspapers. Lett te mourn her loss are a daughtor, Marion (Mrs. Stan- loy Rahm) of Blackstock, two grandchildren, Paul Rahm of Ottawa and Carol (Mrs. Cam- et-on Porter) of Blackstock, 6 great grandehildren, and twvo brothers, the Rev. Clarence Ferguson of Toronto and the Rev. Metnill Ferguson of *Oshawa. She was predoceased by twç brothers, G ltvin in 1900 and Roy in 1970. The funeral was held uary 28 from the McDerný. Panabaker Funeral Homo, Port Perry, with Rev. Victor Parsons officiating. Many floral tributes an donations, attested ,te the esteem in which she was held. Interment was in Union' Cometery, Cadmus. The pal bearers were Konneth Brown, Dalton Dorroîl, Lloyd Wright, George Dunbar, Bil Ferguson and Nool Mor-ton.
