On Saturday night in Darlington Arena, the locals defeated Streetsville 3-2 in the deciding game. Streetsville, a fast skating, weil coached team put up a good fight. Bowmanville goals were by John Conboy of the Midgets, Brian Martin, who had arrived just prior to the game from Florida on a return two day bus trip With the B.H.S. band who had been performing in scheduled concerts in Florida and by Tom Nowlan, a fast skating, hard working member of the team.
