FLASIIBACK - 10 YEARS AGO - Rolling a total of 2430 the Junior Girls Bowling Tt-am of Mary Jane Kilpatrick, Judy Sellers, Alice Chittick, Jill Donoghue, and Cindy Ayre, won the Zone title on March 6th at the Oshawa Plaza Lanes and will compete in the Provincial roll- off in Toronto on Mardi 27th. AIR TOUR - to, the Bahamas will take place on Easter weekend April 16th, and approximately 100 people, flying in 25 aircraft, will leave Oshawa, to take part in the 4th annuai Sno-to-Sun air tour. The 10 day trip arrives in Florida on Good Friday and includes tours of Disnevworld, Kennedy Space Centre, Sea World, Busch Gardens and a week at Treasure Cay, Abaco. Everyone is welcorne to join in what is rated the largest air tour of its kind in the world, and anyone interested should phone Larry McLean at 416-728-2395. In the third period the Realtors scored on a goal by Welsh from Clemens and Peebles and then Brock tîed the score on a slap shot from the blue line to make the score 3-3. The teams played a five minute overtime period' but there was no scorîng in the overtime play so the Realtors advanced to the championship round because the Realtors scored the first goal of the game. In the second game the Realtors were elimînated by Markham in a 7-2 win for Defeat Bay Ridges On Mar. 30, the Hampton Gardens Toros travelled to Bay Ridges and skated away with an 8-2 win. Rick Erwin led the attack with three goals and Brian Ruddy chipped in with a pair. Bill Sainsbury, Mike Stocker and Bilil Hogarth each scored once.
