Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Deiton Fisher and Scott, West Hil; Mr. and Mrs. Barry Fisher, Leanne and Susan, Biackstock. Mr. and Mrs. Maurice- Edgerton attended the service in the Anglican Church, King-, ston when their granddaugh- ter, ingrîd Price, daughter of Mr. end Mrs. Erie Price was baptized on hier first birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Edger- ton, Anne and Li sa, Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Edgerton spent a pleasant vacation in Florida. Wednesday visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Clarke Williams were Mr. Ronald Williams, Oshawa; -Mr. and Mrs, Frank White, Bethany; Mr. and Mrs. Meiburne Middleton and Mr. and IVfrs. Austin Peel, Lind- say. Cartwright Dynos Snowmobile Club On Sunday evening Cart- wright Dynos Club held their last meeting of the season in the Nestleton Recreation Centre. Presideiit Warren Rohrer presided. Minutes of the previous meeting were read by secretary Marg Lee and finances were reported by treasurer Heather Jones. Mr. Howard Gauthier, To- ronto, presented the Club wîth their Charter which is given when the group is incorpor- ated. On Saturday, April 17, the group, hosted a very successful dance at Club Annrenne, Scugog Island. t was decided to have the election of officers in the fail. To commence the season they are planning on, a corn roast. Canadian Foresters District Council On Wednesday evenîng the Nestieton Court were h3osts; to. the District Council Chief. Ranger Ivan Rohrer wel- comed the representatives from the Oshawa Court, Court Charlene, Court Bowmanvilie, the Ladies Court -,Bowman- ville, Court Snowbird and the Mens Court - Nestleton. District Deputy, Milt Bakon, Bowmanville, chaired the meeting. The May District Council will be in Bowman-, ville. Nestieton Bridal Shower On Sunday afternoon bride- elect, Miss Wanda" Cooledge was guest of honour for a misceilaneous shower in Nestieton Recreation Centre. Mrs. Sandy Day welcomed the guests at the door and she was assîsted throughout the afternoon by co-hostess Mrs. Ann Lee, Tea tables were tastefully arranged with luncheon cloths, rosettes and pink and white streamers. Mrs. Elsa Bonguard, who was respon- sible for the decorations showed hier expertise in the magic art. H-ead table guests were Mrs. Gordon Cooledge, mother of and cookies were there to tempt the most fastidious taste. The guest book, which was in charge of Donna Lee was signed by sixty-five guests. Individual servings of showe,,r',cake were served by the young folk. Wanda expressed a very graclous "thank you" to her many friends for their kind- nesses anîd a number of flash photos were taken.
