On Sunday Mrs. Wm. Wan- nan, Mr. Roy Mercer, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Mercer visited Mrs. Ethel Green at Coe Hill. Orono Senior Citizen's Meet- ing is Thursday evening, June 3rd in the I.O.O.F. Hall. Congratulations to Rev. Basil E. Long of the Orono United Church charge who was elected to the office of President-Designate of the Bay of Quinte Conference.of the United Church of Canada. Rev. Long holds this position for a period of a year when at that time he automatically takes over as President of the Bay of Quinte Conference.1 1Mrs. George Morton visited her sister, Mrs. Harold Bar- rowclough in the Port Hope Hospital. Boynton and Unit,5 - Pot Luck Luncheon at the Leskand Church Hall. Mrs. Tom Lewis has been a patient in the Oshawa General Hospital. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Donald Stephen Ryder (the former Miss Barbara Suzanne Bunting of Orono) on their marriage on Saturday, May 22nd at St. Joseph's Church, Bowmanville. Mr. and Mrs. Ron Harris and Mr. Charles Harris spent Sunday at Meaford and visited Mr. andMrs. Roy Fulford and children and Mrs. Lawrence Harris returned home with them after two weeks, whîle her daughter, Mrs. Fulford, was a patient in the Colling- wood Hospital.
