Mr. Pinto who is also a member of the Bowmanville Rotary Club, has been in The Society of Automotive Engin- eers since 1955. He was on the board of governors for 10 years and also served as student engineer chairman before his election to regional vice-chairmnan. The primary interests of the society are flot only in the automotive field, but also in other forms of land, sea and space technology, Mr. Pinto said.
