Miss- Mary Potts, Toronto spent he weekeond ant her ary to Memorial Hospital, for your kindness in giving us front page publicity for our Tag Day on May l4th. It was, as you know, our first attempt to raise money for the hospital in this way and we were a little apprehensive as to the out- corne. However, it was a very successful venture, people were very generous and I am sure it was because they knew, through the Statesman why we were tagging. $87500 was raised through- out the day, this is to be rounded out to $1,000.00 by the Auxiliary and given to the Hosptal to assist in the pUrchase of equipment for the Special Care Unit. Many thanks again for your support. Sincerely, Iris Down (Mrs. J.O.)
