In the first inning Bowman- ville was scoreless, Whitby got one run on hits by Bergevin and Kennedy. Bowmanville brought in single runs in the second and third inning with Whitby retaliating with four runs in the second and one in iu the third. Bowmanville rallied iu the sixth inning, bringing in three runs with hits by Dadson and Hooper. Whitby was scoreless in the sixth. Bowmanville went ahead in the seveuth scoring two runs, giving them a one run lead. Whitby came back in the bottom of the seventh with one run to tie it up.Bowman- ville was unsuccessful in the top of the eighth in scoring any runs.
