Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Walker have returned home from a three week visit with his sister, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Schofield and family and his brother, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Y.' Walker and family ini North- ern Wales and England and also visited other relatives. Congratulations to iMr. and Mrs. Murray William Finney (the former Gail Patricia Fallis) on their marriageý on Saturday afternoon, July 24th in the Orono .United Church. Mr. and Mrs. Ken Bail were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Gay, Bowmanville on Saturday. Mrs. Fred Lycett returned home on Friday from a 10 day visit with her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Leamen and family of London. Mr. William Miller, age 75. husband of Ona Cochane Miller' passed away at the Memoérial Hospital, Bowman- ville on Thursday, July 22nd. Rested at the Barlow Funeral Ï ome with the service at the ang Chapel on Monday afternoon. Interment Orono Cemetery. Cattle hiad beeni put on the upper floon of the stable but even there they were staninrg in water for three days, with owners reaching them by boat. The tour lasted three days.
