B wnianvile Seolember 29, 1976 PUB LIC MEETING REGARDING BOMANVILLE ARENA There will be a meeting in the Court Room, 132 Church Street, Bowmanville at- 8:00 p.m. on -Wednesday, September 29th, 1976 for the purpose of discussing the funding of repairs to the Bowmanville Arena, estimated to cost $45,000. The- Government of Ontario wilI underwrite 25 per cent of the cost by means of a Community Centre Grant and Wintario wiII contribute $2.00 for every $1.00 donated by the private sector. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the ways and means of encouraging the public to raise as much as possible of the required money and thus relieve the burden on taxes.
