A Cliffhanger In the Atom Divison, L & L Tool had to corne from behind a 3-0 haif time deficit to béat the Oshawa North East Sel- ects for the -B" playoff cup. The final outcome was 5-4 in favor of Courtice. Goals by Stephen Coverly, Chris Dreossi and Bobby Canfield evened the score in the second haif, only to have the Selects pull into a 4-3 lead a short time later. Courtice rallied again with Lorne Whitmarsh netting the equalizer, and with less than two minutes to play, Chris Dreossi struck for the game wînning goal. For any of the boys on the Atom team, it was their first attempt at soccer, and win- ning the "B" playoff was a fine way to end a very happy season.
