The pot luck dinner was enjoyed with the regular service and Com- munion followed. Mrs. S. Westheuser and Mrs. E. Farrow were Sunday Sehool teachers and Mr. M. Caswell organist. There was choir practice at Shiloh Church Sunday evening for the Men's choir that will be singing for the Church anni- versary. Next practice will be Sunday at 8 in Shiloh. The bride's dress and bridal attendants gowns were l made by the bride. The groom was attired in a black Windsor suit with white, black trimmed ruffled shirt and white boutonniere. For the reception held at Centennial Hall, Bowmanville the bride's mother chose a KENDvAL, Mrs. Jean Hay's class Grades 2 and 3 in Kendal school recently had the exper- ience of huskîng, cooking, and eating the corn. They asked Grade one pupils to the meal. Also two mothers were there to assist in the preparations. Mrs. W.H. Foster and Miss Catherine Stewart, represents Kendal church at a special meeting last Wednesday even- ing in Kingsview United Clburch, Oshawa.- The speaker was a lawyer telling ail about the making of wills. There were two Tupperware parties in Kendal area this past week. One at Mrs. M. Wagar's on Tuesday evening, the other Wednesday evening at the home of Mrs. J. Stapleton. Mrs. R. Elliott visited with Mrs. Ruby Wilson near Ross- mount last Friday. Miss Catherine Stewart vis- ited with Mrs. Alva Swarbreck of Oshawa last Thursday. There were between 35 and 40 on the bus trip sponsored by the Couples' Club last Satur- day. The bus left Kendal school at 9 a.m. and travel- led northward to enjoy the fail colors. At noon they were in Bobcaygeon where their faîl fair was on. The parade was exceptionally good as they were celebrating the town's lOth birthday. Al had a few hours at the fair before journeying on toward Buckhorn, calling at the cheese house Lakefield. They had dinner in Peterboro be- 'fore returning home.
