Whitby started the scoring but Toros camne back with two goals by Ken Hoy to lead 2-1 at the end of the first period. Hoy's first goal was set up by Pete Keene and bis second goal was assisted by Terry Riggers. Whitby came back to score 3 unanswered goals to take a 4-2 lead with 1 minute gone in the third period. Hoy, with the bat trick, cut the lead to 4-3 when he was set up by Randy MacDonald and Neil Jones. Brent Clemens tied the score when he blasted a shot home. Clemens' goal was assisted by Riggers and Jones. Whitby scored 2 mnore goals to lock up the win. Final score Whitby 6 Toros 4. On Saturday, Nov. 27, at Markham the Tomos stopped their 3 game winless streak by defeating Markham by the score of 2-0. The Toros were led by their captain Rick Simpson, who scored a picture goal when the Toros were playing two men short. That goal was an insurance marker and gave a 2-0 lead at the end of the second period.
