The regulation is effective as of January 1, 1977. The Select Committee, which includes representa- tives of ail three Ontario politrical parties, requested that the amendmnent to The Hi ghway Traffic Act be brought intLo force with a viexw towards reducing deaths and head injuries among moped drivers.
