William Kean Jr. lit the fourth Advent candie for Love in the World, after which the Processional, Hymn O Come Ail Ye Faithful was sung. Members of the, Choir narnating the Christmas story were Ann Spivey, 1Stephen Allun, Dorella Chard, Calvin Aluin and 'Nancy Aluin. Ken Boyd as the angel Gabriel visited Elizabeth (Susan Wag- an) and Zachanias (Carol Selby), and Mary (Susan Foster) to tell of the Baby's birth. The choir rendered several beautiful numbeï-s and the Sunday School chiidren sang 'The Virgîn Mary had a Baby Boy'. Shepherds visiting the Babe at Bethlehem were Greg Wade, Rick Neal and Jack Chard. Mn. David Rick- ard acted the part of Herod and was accompanied by the High Priest (Newton Selby)., The Wise Men bringing gifts, were Mr. Harry Wade, Mn. Alfred Perrin and Rev. David Spivey. The Angel who watch- ed over the stable at Bethle- hem was Miss Mary Ann Groetelaars. Lt was a lot of fun because it was a Chanlie Brown Christmas. A Chanlie Brown Christmas is where everyone'brings a gift under a dollar, something funny. ,Santa Claus arnived and everyone sat on his knee and made their Christmas re- quests. Hopefully, everyone will get what theyý want for Christmas. The Newcastle Hli C would like to thank everyone who showed up for the Carolline on Thursday night. The Hi C wish everyone a Very Merrýy Christmas an d a Happy New Year. Anglican Church News On Sunday, Dec. l9th at St. George's Anglican, Church, Rev. Grant Schwartz held a Baptismal Service. The Sun- day School children had a birthday cake with candles for the Baby Jesus. On Christmas Eve, Com- munion will be held at St. Saviour's Orono at 8 p.m. and at St. George's at 9:30 p. m. On Sunday, Dec. 26th regular services will be held at 'St. George's with Holy Commun- ion at 9 a.m. and Morning. While the ladies in charge prepared a cup of tea, the others participated in a con- test, the wýnners being Mrs. Eileen Allin and Mrs. Jean Holmes. The meeting closed with the repeating of the Mizpah Benediction. HOCKEY NEWS Sunday Night Town League In the first game Sunday night Elmhurst team defeated Partners by a score of 8-3. Scoring for Elmhurst first were Earl Cobbledick assisted by Terry Walton. Partners then scored. Kim Rogers from Tully Thompson. The second Elmhurst goal was by Roger Wooley from Gary Van Dam and Joe Caruana. Then Elm- hurst's Tim Walton scored, assisted by Paul Kiberd. Then Paul Kiberd scored assisted by Gary Van Dam and Tim Walton. Partner's second goal was scored by Darreli Barrett assisted by Paul Norton and Bill McCullough. Elmhurst's next goal by Joe Caruana was assisted by Jamie Wright and Robin Rickard, Gary Van Dam assîsted by Roger Wool- ey and Tim Walton put in the next goal. Partners came on with their third goal by Tully Thompson assisted b'y Kim Rogers. Again Paul Kiberd scored for Elmhurst assisted by Earl Cobbledick and Robin Rickard. Mike White started off the Spencer's night by scoring from Daryl Osmond and Keith Kell.y. Then Greg Gray scored from Daryl Osmund and Don Martin. Again Mike' White scored from Daryl Osmund, and Doug Rickard. Phil Fox scored the fourth Spencer goal assisted by Terry Cox and Daryl Osmond. 1 Again Grey Gray scored from Jerry Thompson and Barry Hazeldon. Doug Rick- ard scored the sixth goal assisted by Mike White and Don Martin. Larry Watson scored the first goal for Newcastle Lum- bermen assisted by 'Rick Landry and Wayne Pearce.
