Mr. and Mrs. Allan Gundrie are doing a spot of babysitting for Todd and Terra during their absence. Sympathy of the community is extended to Mr. Allan Sisson and family-Mrs. Don Hamm of Orono, Mr. Robert Sisson, Bethany and Mr. Clare Sisson, Lakefield and their familles in the passing of a loving wife and mother this week. Mrs. Sîsson, among her many other attributes posses- sed a very green thumb, her success with flora and fauna was amazing and she posses- sed one of the lovelîest flower gardens around in the sum- mer rnonths. Miss Candice Malcolm has returned from spending an enjoyable 2 weeks vacation with fellow students in Mex- ico. Mr. Robert Burns lias re- turned home from attending the Winter Carnival at Quebec city-busy promoting improved relations between French Canadians and English speak- ing Canadian no doubt, start- ing no doubt with the feminine gender. Another promising sign that Spring is no more than 6 months away (more or less), spotted our first woodchuck cavorting on the snowbanks on Saturday afternoon (Feb. 26). The matriarch of our partie- ular family tree Mrs. Emma Malcolm was honoured this weekend on the occasion of her birthday.
