ALL FOR THIS YEARý. - The hockey season for Bowmanville teams ended on Sunday afternoon when Essex 73s downed the Port Darlington Marina and Hotel Junior C Eagles to win the Ontario Charnpionship series four garnes to two. It was a tight series ail the way, and even on Sunday the Eages started to rally in the third period, with two cluick goals but their drive was offset shortly after when Essex got a breakaway and scored. Coach Bill Cosburn and bis Eagles should be proud of their showing aizainst a fine Essex squad with a superb goalie., Unfortunately, for quite a few of the Eaes, tw i their final year of junior hockey and thywud dearly have loved bringing the trophy to Bowmanville.
