OBITUARIES NICOLE MARIE YOUNG in Toronto, on Tuesday, April 26tb, 1977, the death occurred of Nicole Marie Young ' aged 23 months, followmg an illness of tbree .days. Daughter of, Debbie (Gib- son) and Victor Young, and born in Bowmanviile she was the littie sister of Tammy. Left to mourn her passing are bier parents, sister and grandparents Mrs. Etbel Young, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gray and Jim Kirk', ail of Port Hope. Funeral services were held at the Morris Funeral Chapel witb Rev. T. Smitb officiating on Friday. Pall-bearers were Messrs. Doug Young, James Coburn, Wayne Gibson, and Truman Young. Donations were made in bier memory to the Sick Cbildren's Hospital Toronto, and to Simcoe Hall Crippled Cbild- ren. Interment Bowmanville Cemetery. JAMES CLIFFTON HERRON The death occurred of James Cliffton Herron, aged 84, on Saturday, May 7th, 1977 at Hillsdale Manor, Oshawa. Born in Verulam Townsbip, he was the son of the late John and Annie Herron., A resident of Oshawa for tbe last 49 years, hie had previous- ly resided in Bobcaygeon and Peterborough. Mr. Herron was a member, of the United Cburcb. Surviving are bis sister Elsie Fowler, Peterborougb, and two brothers, John Herron of Bowmanville and Bruce Herron of Florida, U.S.A. Reverend L.M. Somerville conducted the funeral services, from the Morris Funeral Chapel, Bowmanville on Monday. 'Interment Verulam Cemetery. OPP REPORT On Saturday, May 7, at approximately 12:25 a.m. a Personal Injury Accident occurred on Regional Road 9 a mile east of Higbway 35 resulting in injury to 4 persons and property damage in excess of $6,000.' A vebicle driven by Donald J. Colloher of Port Credit was eastbound on Regional Road 9 wben a westbound vehicle driven by Stephen G. Bull of Pontypool, Ontario approacb- ed in the centre of the road. Golloher swerved to avoid the collision, but tbe vebicles struck head-on resulting in injury to both drivers and Mr. Golloher's wif e, Doris. Immediately following this collision a third vehicle driven by Donald Warren of Mill- brook approacbed the scene and skidded into the Bull vebicle injuring Mary Oliverio of Toronto. Investigation into the acci- dent is continuing and charges are pending. Don't Help a Thief Over 24,000 cars were stolen in Ontario last year.
