Behind the book tables, Tony, Brand and Joe Pinto had good deals to offer on reading material. A number of men were attracted to the table above which displayed items ràngÎng from fishing poles to lures and other fishing equipment. The Second Annual Rotary Bazaar and Auction was successfufl for nearly everyone who participated again thi- year,. raising approximately $3,500 in funds. But the resuits were positive' flot only from the Bowman- ville Rotary Club's point of vieW. it also proved worthwhile for the patrons who picked up some great bargains, the winner of a trip to Acapulco, and for those who just enjoyed browsing 'or playing some of the -j-,:iy games ,,hat were ini action.. 1- -- .1 1 The autOone ofth highlights of the event, was tebest opportunity for buying merchandise at dras- tically reduced prîces. The value of money tooke dramatie jump as everything from stoves to washing machines sold for as low as a dollar. Delicious looking baked goods, fresh from the ovens of the Rotaryanns' and their friends, was also available. t was also a good place to buy books too, with a wide variety of paperbacks and hardcovers out on display. .Although the club made less in profits than last year's effort, anyone who dropped in for the big event saw that it was a success more than just in terms of money.
