Nesbitt It was sure quite notable on Saturday night at Westgate Speedway that Walter Hen- derson of Orono, who drives car number 77 in the Late Model Division, is driving his car with much more smooth- ness and in a strong competi- tive manner. that, he should be recognized as the most im- proved driver so far this season. Walter is usually in the top four at the end of the races and is in third place in the Points Award. Keep up the good work Walter as your fans are rooting for you. In the second heat of the Late Model Division, fans were kept on the edge of their seats as Roy Gaynor (car 63) and Carl Fuller (car 31) seesawed back and forth in first position which made it exciting right to the end. Roy Gaynor was the victor and after the night of running is now tops in points for'said division. If this race is an example of what these fellows will be doing this year, fans are in for a lot of suspense when they are out competing. In the crowd -pleasin-g Wreck-Um race this week, Nick Sonopoly of Toronto was the winner. There was a large number, twenty-one cars, competing in this event but, when such was completed the track looked like a large scrap yard and that the majority of the cars had already been put through the crusher for bail- ing.
