They are lovable, cuddly animals. Stop and think little. They are absolutely ne trouble at all. They don't stay around their ewner's home te get in the way. All the owners have te do is put eut a little food, and let the cats in the heuse in celd, or bad weather. They're se tired eut from reaming day and night they just want te curl up and sleep when they do finally return home. And when it se pleases, the owners can maybe pet and love them up a little. The cats stay eut alI night te roam with the opposite sex, and their howls (?) are something te keep other than the pet owners awake. They sleep on cars parked outside, leaving their paw-prints everywhere. They den't use their owners, property. for the necessities, they save that fertilizer for the neighbcrs. Birds. Now why should anyone object te cats chasing the birds and killing them, when bird-levers have spent money for bird feed and bird houses? And neighbers really don't mind the cats galleping through their gardens. in pursuit cf squirrels, etc. And have you ever smelled cat wet on your aluminum screen door? It's semething else! And net te be tee harsh on cats, don't yeu just love the dog walkers, who stand, leash in hand, and watch their loved one, do his job on anybody's lawn buthis? Lots cf people love pets but eut cf common sense and a respect for others. don't indulge in the hobby cf "Pets for others te Enjoy" . Osghawa is inan battle rightno-, Varicus issues for the people, who undoubtedly have ideas and-or opinions that just imight clarîfy some things for them and give ycu, as you say "Isomne idea as te the thoughts cf the populace." Question: From where, is it tne opinion cf Counillor Woodward, "a step back is being taken?" Was he cf the opinion that councillors had " supreme " authority for deci- sion-mnaking? If se will some- ene indly inferm him, he was elected te a position cf trust by peoplewho evidently trusted him, te make decisions accor- ding te their welfare.' Why, therefere, "a step backward", te have a question and answer period?I Sincerely R.
