In 1 cup brown sugar 1 tbsp. sof t butter 1 egg Pour this over first mixture then add: 11/2 cups pastry flour 12 cup chopped wainuts Place in a greased loaf pan 9 x 5 x 3 inch. Cook in a slow oveni 325 degrees' for 60-70 minutes. Mrs. Stanley Milison Enniskiiien CINNAMON LOAF 1/4 cup butter' 1 cup sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilia 2 cups flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. baking soda 12 tsp. sait 1 cup sour miik Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilia and biend weli. Sift together dry ingredients and add alter- nateiy with sour miik. Pour baif of the mixture in greased loaf pan and sprinkie with half this mixture: 3 tbsp. brown sugar 1 tbsp. cinnamon Add remaining batter and top with remaining mixture. Swiri a knife through batter to mix in cinnamon. Bake 350-375 degrees for approximateiy 45 minutes. Place sugar, oil and eggs in a large bowl and beaIt well. Add flour, baking powder, soda, sait and cinnamon and mix weii. Add vanilia, pine- apple and grated carrots and mix well.
